Paviljonki 2
Located in Jokiniemi, Vantaa, a former research institute was transformed into six beautiful, well thought out and naturally ventilated apartments. The Pavillion, originally built in 1909 and designed by H.R. Helin, served for example as the office of future Finnish president Lauri Relander. During the renovation the light pink facade, original windows and doors and beautiful staircase were carefully restored. Bricks from demolished interior walls were reused in the bottom level common lounge. Each apartment has a greenhouse of their own in the garden - a memory of the building's past as a research facility.
