As Oy Helsingin Muurarimestari is a solid brick housing project to be built in Oulunkylä, Helsinki. Complete with natural ventilation and solid brick structure, the construction will start in near future. The solid brick building method has been almost forgotten in the Finnish building industry. By example we want to encourage professionals to explore the possibilities of traditional construction. The house consists of 29 apartments with large balconies. In addition there will be a communal space, sauna and a commercial space on the ground floor. The project is part of City of Helsinki's Re-thinking Urban Housing (Kehittyvä Kerrostalo) programme.
