Noli Myyrmäki

Avarrus had a chance to develop new and innovative living concepts together with Noli Studios in Myyrmäki, Vantaa. The eight-storey hotel building is located in the middle of an active sports and campus area, next to a crossroads of main roads. Early key words for the design process were accessibility, activity and liveliness. Clear, linear forms and abundance of light characterize both the exterior and interior architecture of the hotel. Co-living facilities in the ground floor open up to the streetfront through glass walls, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both short- and long-term guests and illuminating the surroundings. The concept of light continues throughout the building with landscape views through the building in each floor and each studio generously opening to a private balcony.
