Kiljava Scout Centre

Avarrus designed a renovation of 1991 built Kiljava scout centre, which serves scouts from the metropolitan Helsinki area as a camping site as well as an educational centre.⠀The goal was to add better functionality and create more suiting ambience.
The ceiling was constructed of hundreds of pieces of wood for a natural wave effect. In addition to the pendant lamps, there are dozens of LED-strips installed between the pieces of wood. ⠀
